ALL ARRIVED SAFELY AND FEEDING.

Colour Coded and Easily Identified from each other.
It is very exciting times updating families who have been waiting for a pup - some have waited now for over a year.  As each life enters the world I can't help but wonder which person will best match which puppy.  I spend 24/7 with my pups for the first couple of weeks.  They are in my lounge room area and I am sleeping on the floor to make sure they are all safe and sound and feeding on a regular basis through the night.  Heating pad and hot water bottles helping to keep the temperature right.

Precious Asleep and Warm - She sleeps while I set an alarm to check every 2 hours for the first 3 nights.
Pups are all weighed at birth and have a ribbon to identify them from their siblings.  Daily weight records, monitoring and Neurological Stimulation Exercises from Day 3-16 all made easier with this colour coding method.  Its amazing how early little traits and personality differences can be noticed when keeping such a close eye on who is who.

Pups are both blind and deaf for approximately the first 14 days

I make sure to spend time with each puppy as an individual each day from early in their life to ensure they are use to one on one attention and stimulation from the outside world.

Puppies are as highly socialised as possible at the appropriate age in line with the concepts you can read about in the book by Dr. Ian Dunbar called Before and After Getting Your Puppy.

All visitors are asked to follow very strict protocol in regards to hygiene so as to ensure the puppies health is as best protected as possible.

Men Women and Children are all important for puppies to have contact with during their early socialisation phase.
